Luigi Brutti

Luigi Brutti was born on November 23, 1984, in Viterbo, Italy, where he was affectionately known as "Gigio" among his friends and family. From a young age, Luigi exhibited a deep commitment to his Christian faith and a profound desire to serve others. He dedicated himself to volunteer work and pursued a career in special education, achieving his goal of becoming a special education teacher at the age of 23.

In his personal life, Luigi experienced a transformative spiritual journey around the age of 17, when he began to perceive God as a friend rather than a distant judge. This shift deepened his faith and inspired him to live a life filled with love, joy, and service. He expressed a strong desire to help those less fortunate, provide comfort to the sick, and offer hope to the desperate. His reflections and thoughts during this period were later compiled into a book titled "I Need Light," which showcases his belief in achieving holiness through simple, everyday actions.

Tragically, Luigi's life was cut short when he fell ill and passed away on August 19, 2011, at the age of 26, just as he was preparing to marry his fiancé.
